Tins last a lifetime!
Most of our tins are re-used long before they reach the scrap heap. In fact our research has shown that consumers buy the tin for its potential after use, rather than primarily buying the tin for its contents. It is normal practice to discard packaging after use, but not so normal with tin boxes, they last forever.
Take a look around your home or that of your friends and relations, the chances are there will be many tin boxes holding biscuits, cakes and spices in the kitchen and most probably more elsewhere containing everything from curtain hooks to cosmetics. Tins are handy hardwearing containers which very few people ever discard.
Our Responsibility
Tinware Direct feel it is crucial to use materials efficiently and by using metal as a packaging solution is offering the only material that does not degrade when recycled or reprocessed. Tin packaging can by recycled over and over again and not lose quality.

We are dedicated to reducing our waste and thats why very shortly we will be launching "Tinware Direct Goes Even Greener" which is our new initiative to help the environment even more than we currently do, one example of this is that we are going to start emailing all invoices electronically rather than post them, this will not only reduce carbon emissions on transportation but will reduce paper too.
